Talk & Move
Talk & Move develops children’s speech, language and emotional regulation through movement. Created by Helen Guntrip Specialist Speech and Language Therapist, this holistic programme enables early years educators to support children in the prime areas of the EYFS. Talk & Move’s mission is to support the whole child, it is a unique approach that combines body movements with vocabulary, speech sounds and phonological awareness development. The programme is inclusive and different learning styles are supported through use of Talk & Move cards, signing and movement., The combination of active, balancing and calming moves also provide educators with a range of co-regulation strategies to use with the children in their setting.
